I'm not resigning, but I'm not associating myself with the Brotherhood right now. I feel I may be in the library for awhile.

That's not the point here. If you choose not to associate yourself with us then you are no longer in the Brotherhood. The point is that we have done nothing wrong. Stand with us or begone from the Bengals. That's the point.

I guess I have no choice, I fail to see why we have to be Bengals to be friends. I'm still your friend.

We didn't do anything wrong, but the citizens won't change their minds.

In these final words on this tree, I have to say, that although no longer in the Bengals, I will continue to be your ally in the good fight against all that is bad in Syrinx, I just don't need a label to do it.

I will be staying. Malzel thinks this is best for him, and I believe this is the best for myself. however, Malzel needs to be assured that these two will never know of any intelligence the brotherhood has.
